From its modest initiation in the winter of 2006, ACT has rapidly grown into one of the most widely anticipated and eagerly awaited sporting events of the year, and is already the torch bearer of many a heroic tale of victory and glory.
ACT 2015 was inaugurated by our Chairman – Mohammed.Mohiuddin Ghatala, member of Planning Co-ordination Monitoring Board for Minorities, Khairatabad, Hyderabad & our beloved Principal – Dr. Mohammed Hafeezuddin. It saw colleges from all over the state. It also witnessed an interesting dose of innovation in the form of new ‘Special’ events to accompany the pre-existing conventional ones.
And as if the heart pounding thrills and spills of the on-field action just weren't enough, we present to you an array of Indoor-games viz., Carroms, Chess, Table-Tennis, and Tennicoit. So get ready to kick up your heels and brace yourselves for an amazing ride this January. As ACT 2015 promises not only to emulate the successes of its predecessor, but also to surpass it in more ways than are imaginable.
Introduction : Students from our college have a great legacy of excelling in both academics, sports and have won laurels and accolades to their alma mater in the field of sports. The main objective behind ACT 2015 was to have an indigenous blend of talent, skill, endurance and to give a platform for the other students also to excel and showcase their talent. These years have seen immensely enthusiastic participation, growing interest, new events, high quality competitive sportsmanship, incorporation of novel ideas and substantial prize money.
Aim : ACT’2015 aims to increase the participation to over different engineering colleges in the district, embellishing it as the District’s biggest Inter Engineering sports event. Along with addition of new events and increased participation, ACT 2014 aims at giving more benefits & recognition to its participants and more specific quality exposure to the sponsors.
Registrations can be done as follows :
Registrations for ACT 2015 will start from 10th January 2015. Sports Secretary / Captains must register their teams on or before 19th January 2015.

Registration Fee per event is: Rs.200/- (DD in favor of “Principal – Arkay College of Engineering & Technology” Bodhan) or in cash (spot registration)

Confirmation will be done on first come first serve basis. Confirmation of entry will be sent by e-mail /call to team representative. The number of teams required for an event will be decided by ACT 2015 Managing Committee.
Important Guidelines
Team must compulsorily bring the letter of authorization by the head of the institute mentioning the name of the participants, at the time of registration. Team members should produce their CURRENT YEAR (2014-15) STAMPED I-CARDS at the registration desk at the time of reporting. Failure in doing so will result in disqualification of the player.
A common bonafide of the students should be submitted at the time of registration along with your I-Cards.
Year down students of current academic year (2014-15) are not allowed.
The decision of the umpires/arbiters will be final and binding upon all.
Any misconduct will lead to the disqualification of the team.
The team should report half an hour before the match. Late reporting will lead to the disqualification of the team.

Invitation for Participation in 10th Inter District Level Engineering Sports Festival, January 2015
On behalf of the Arkay Educational Society, We are delighted to extend this formal invitation for all the Engineering Institutions in Nizamabad District to participate in “Arkay Champions Trophy (ACT) 2015”. For the tenth time in succession this most prestigious tournament (i.e 10th Inter District Level Engineering Sports Festival) will take place at our college.
The tournament which will be held at Arkay College of Engineering & Technology, Bodhan, Dist. Nizamabad from 23rd January 2015 to 25th January 2015, with the theme “Drive in Your game”, aims not only to attract the Districts Finest & enthusiastic players but also to create a competitive platform where the value of the sport will be highlighted by the participants.
